The Centre for Child and Family Justice Research at Lancaster University and the Public Law Working Group are delighted to announce a webinar on June 16th at 4.30 -6pm.
It will consider learning from the recently published report by Professor Judith Harwin and Lily Golding, Lancaster University, on parental perspectives on care proceedings, supervision orders and care orders at home (available here)
Speakers will include:
- the President of the Family Division, Sir Andrew McFarlane
- Professor Judith Harwin, Centre for Child and Family Justice Research
- Mr Justice Keehan, Chair of the Public Law Working Group
- a parent with lived experience.
This is the first time that parents have spoken out about their views on supervision orders and care orders at home since the 2014 Children and Families Act.
