Slides now available from internal seminar: 'The Care Cases Crisis'

Professor Lauren Devine and her Co-Investigator, Stephen Parker, kindly offered their time yesterday (27.2.19) to provide an internal seminar, here at Lancaster University - 'The Care Cases Crisis'.

There is widespread concern in England about an increasing number of children involved in public family law proceedings, particularly care order proceedings.  The implication is that child protection processes should result in a reduction in children needing State care.  This paper explores interim findings from The Care Cases Crisis project funded by the Nuffield Foundation.
