Recording Available: Disrupting the Routes between Care and Custody for Girls and Women
The Centre for Child & Family Justice Research at Lancaster University hosted the end-of-project event for the Nuffield Foundation-funded project Disrupting the Routes between Care and Custody for Girls and Women. The project was led by Lancaster University in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Bristol. The final project event featured contributions from the research team: Dr Claire Fitzpatrick and Dr Katie Hunter (Lancaster University), Dr Jo Staines (University of Bristol) and Dr Julie Shaw (Liverpool John Moores University). The event was introduced by Professor John Drew CBE (Prison Reform Trust) and includes a contribution from Tassie Ghilani (Ministry of Justice) who supported the event with a personal and professional reflection.
