Professor Judith Harwin presented at the South East Wales Local Family Justice Board Training event in Cardiff

Professor Judith Harwin spoke at the SE Wales Local Family Justice Board Training event held on Friday 4th October in Cardiff. The topic for the day was 'Reducing the LAC population safely'. Judith focused on problem-solving justice and drew on the evidence from the Family Drug and Alcohol Court in Care Proceedings to show how FDAC can help safely reduce the looked after children population. She also discussed other types of problems in care proceedings that could benefit from a problem-solving approach.
