PhD student Laura Wood attending specialist training in Boston and speaking at the International Human Trafficking & Social Justice Conference in Ohio

This September, ESRC PhD student Laura Wood, a paediatrician specialising in Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking has been selected to attend specialist training in Boston, MA in modern slavery as a public health issue and equipping healthcare staff to respond to slavery.  Following this, Laura will be speaking at the International Human Trafficking & Social Justice Conference in Toledo, Ohio on the healthcare response to human trafficking.
